This technology relates to a windshield wiper blade, specifically featuring an elastically elongated member, a wiping rubber member, and a spoiler. The spoiler is supported by the elastic member and includes a deflection section on its upper side that bends under wind pressure during vehicle operation, and a base section on its lower side that secures the wiping rubber member. An outer plug is coupled to the longitudinal end of the spoiler, with a portion fitted into the deflection section and another portion latched to the base section. This design improves aesthetics and allows for the secure attachment of an adapter assembly—which accommodates various types of drive arms—by reinforcing the middle section of the spoiler where a recess is formed.
Existing solutions in this field have faced structural and functional limitations that required improvement.
This technology can be applied to the windshield wiper blade industry to enhance performance and efficiency.
