Tram rail fixing jig with straightness adjustment using inclined and tapered blocks

This technology is a jig for fixing a tram rail of a ship testing device to a towing tank. It comprises a rail chair; a rail initial straightness adjustment unit that fixes the rail chair to the towing tank by adjusting the gap between them; an inclined block connected to the center of the rail chair's upper surface, featuring a pair of inclined grooves spaced apart laterally; a tapered block installed to slide along the inclined grooves, upon which the tram rail is placed; an adjustment block fixed to the front of the rail chair; and a rail constant straightness adjustment unit. The latter includes a fine-adjustment hex bolt that passes through the adjustment block to connect to the front of the tapered block, and a fine-adjustment hex nut screwed onto the bolt. By rotating the nut, the bolt pushes or pulls the tapered block, inducing sliding movement to adjust the straightness of the tram rail placed on the tapered block.
