AI-powered autonomous cleaning robot for combined dry and wet cleaning

This technology relates to an autonomous cleaning robot equipped with a dry suction and wet spray structure, capable of adaptive operation through AI-based environmental perception, and designed to perform wet cleaning following dry cleaning.

Conventional cleaning robots have struggled to effectively handle diverse contaminants and floor conditions due to their focus on either dry or wet cleaning methods alone.

To address this, the technology utilizes a dry cleaning unit to remove debris, followed by a wet cleaning unit that sprays and recovers cleaning solution, allowing a single robot to perform both dry and wet cleaning sequentially.

Key Features:
  • A cleaner body with a dry suction port, a wet suction port, and a wet spray nozzle formed on the bottom surface
  • A drive unit positioned on the bottom of the cleaner body to facilitate movement
  • A dry cleaning unit comprising a dry cleaner that moves debris to the dry suction port for dry cleaning, and a dry nozzle for suctioning the debris
  • A wet cleaning unit comprising a wet cleaner that sprays and recovers cleaning solution to perform wet cleaning on the dry-cleaned surface
