Method for diagnosing cholangiocarcinoma using serum exosome glycan alterations

This technology diagnoses and predicts the prognosis of cholangiocarcinoma by utilizing alterations in the glycan structure of serum-derived exosomes from cholangiocarcinoma patients as a biomarker.

Conventional diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma based on blood markers and imaging has been limited by low accuracy and specificity.

This technology enhances the accuracy and specificity of diagnosis by isolating and detecting specific glycans from exosomes to diagnose and predict the prognosis of cholangiocarcinoma.
