Composition for neuronal cell culture using porcine brain-derived decellularized extracellular matrix

This technology relates to a composition for neural progenitor cell differentiation and neuronal cell culture, comprising porcine brain-derived decellularized extracellular matrix (P-BdECM) and laminin, and its manufacturing method.

Existing neuronal cell culture materials could not sufficiently mimic the human brain microenvironment, leading to limitations in the activity, differentiation, and survival rate of neural progenitor cells.

This technology enhances cell adhesion by adding laminin to P-BdECM, thereby promoting the activity and axon formation of neural progenitor cells and significantly increasing their differentiation potential and survival rate.

Key Features:
  • Composition based on porcine brain-derived decellularized extracellular matrix (P-BdECM)
  • Includes laminin for enhanced cell adhesion
  • Establishes a culture environment similar to the human brain
  • Improved differentiation potential and survival rate of neural progenitor cells
