Toilet bowl with clog removal function

Listed on
2025-11-27
A technology for automatically removing toilet clogs using high-pressure gas generated from a cartridge.

This technology utilizes a built-in cartridge containing a chemical compound to generate high-pressure gas, which is used to push foreign substances out of a clogged toilet drainage channel. When the toilet is clogged, a specialized toilet cover with a sucker seals the upper portion of the toilet bowl to prevent splashing and maintain pressure. The cartridge then ignites the compound (sodium azide) to instantaneously generate nitrogen gas, increasing the pressure within the water storage space and forcing the water and clog through the sewer without requiring manual pumping.

Key Features:
  • High-pressure gas generation using the decomposition of sodium azide
  • Sealing the water storage space using a toilet cover equipped with a lateral surface and a sucker
  • Prevention of splashing and effective pressure transfer using an optional flexible tube
  • Integration of the clog removal cartridge and nozzle within a bidet system

The patent is a technology developed with research funding from the Ministry of Education on "Integrated Processing and Analysis of Streaming and Stored Data in a Distributed Environment."
