This technology is a device for easily manufacturing plant-derived exosome compositions by vertically arranging a mixing unit with an inlet and a rotary mixer, a concentration unit that applies magnetic force to the fluid using a magnet, and a collection unit consisting of a tip that penetrates a thin film and a container.
Existing custom cosmetic manufacturing devices are mostly large, complex, or high-cost equipment requiring electrical and electronic components. Consequently, they have limitations in terms of size, ease of operation, and safety for home use.
This technology selectively captures exosomes using Concanavalin A-coated magnetic beads and separates them with a magnet. It ensures error-free collection by using a spacer that only allows the tip to puncture the thin film when a specific amount of force is applied. Since the mixer is operated by a manual handle and gears, it functions without electricity. It can be applied to home-care cosmetic devices and in-store custom cosmetic services, allowing consumers to safely create and use fresh plant exosome ingredients themselves.
This invention was developed with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT for the development of droplet microfluidic chips and automated systems for anticancer drug screening through high-efficiency production of circulating tumor cell-leukocyte clusters.
