This technology features a case mounted on the exterior wall above openings such as balconies. In the event of a fire, gas is injected into a folded mat inside the case, causing it to inflate outward and delay flames from spreading to the floor above.
In high-density buildings like apartment complexes, fire easily spreads from lower to upper floors through openings like balconies, leading to significant loss of life and property. Existing fire-resistant roll screens, while effective at blocking external spread, often cover the entire opening, obstructing firefighting efforts and blocking emergency escape routes via windows.
This technology consists of a first mat body that inflates into a ring shape when gas is injected, and a second mat body equipped with channels for fire-extinguishing fluid, both connected to their respective tanks. The system also integrates a sprinkler, a rotating door, and a rope ladder storage net beneath the case. When the rotating door opens, the seal breaks, deploying the rope ladder to secure an escape route. Suitable for high-rise apartments, office buildings, hotel balconies, and retrofitting older residential buildings, it delays fire spread while simultaneously facilitating firefighting and evacuation.
