This technology features a trash can with a gap between an inner body with air-permeable holes and an outer body with an air vent. By evacuating air from this space, the trash bag is pulled tightly against the inner walls. The lower part of the inner body is supported by an elastic member, allowing it to slide and adjust the capacity of the bag compartment.
Conventional ring-style trash cans are inconvenient because users must manually press the bag against the inner walls to remove trapped air before use. Additionally, full bags often get stuck against the inner walls, making them difficult to remove.
With this technology, evacuating air from the gap causes the lower body to descend, spreading the bag wide. When the sealing member is removed, the elastic member restores the lower body to its original position, shrinking the compartment and allowing the full bag to be lifted out easily. It is suitable for residential and office trash cans and public recycling bins, enabling faster and more hygienic bag replacement.
