USB Anti-Loss Bracelet

Anti-loss wristband that remains fastened only when a USB is inserted

This technology features a USB anti-loss bracelet consisting of a housing block with pockets at both ends of the wristband and a casing block with an insertion slot and a USB port. The bracelet is locked by inserting a USB through the port into the pocket while the two blocks are engaged. Since the blocks remain locked only when the USB is inserted, the USB itself acts as the locking pin for the bracelet.

Existing integrated USB bracelets have the memory unit built into the main body, meaning the entire bracelet must be removed when plugged into a computer, creating a risk of losing both the USB and the bracelet. Furthermore, if the memory unit fails, it cannot be replaced. Similarly, wristwatches with built-in USB memory cannot prevent the common mistake of leaving the device behind with the USB still plugged into the computer.

This technology securely fastens the USB by aligning locking protrusions inside the pocket with grooves on the front and back of the USB, while a cutout on the casing block allows for easy removal. The use of rubber or polyurethane bands, plastic blocks, and an arc-shaped bottom ensures comfort and durability. Ideal for secure office USBs, portable storage for students and professionals, and promotional wearables, this design requires the user to remove the bracelet to use the USB, ensuring they remain aware of the device and preventing loss or data leaks.
