The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing metal products using fabric patterns and the metal products manufactured thereby. More specifically, it relates to a method for manufacturing metal products, such as jewelry, that faithfully reproduce the unique texture of fabric using wax-coated fabric patterns.
Conventional wax carving methods have limitations in capturing delicate surface textures like those of fabric on metal products. The present invention overcomes these limitations, allowing the unique texture and soft, organic forms of fabric materials to be perfectly expressed in metal.
By creating a metal pattern master from a wax-coated fabric pattern, and subsequently producing a silicone/rubber mold, a wax pattern, and a plaster mold to cast liquid metal, the ability to express delicate surface textures similar to fabric is significantly enhanced.
