Monorail switching device using a power cylinder switching link to divert rail beams

This technology relates to a monorail switching device, and more specifically, to a switching device suitable for monorail structures, including those installed in mountainous regions. The monorail switching device of the present invention includes a base frame fixed to the ground or a structure; a plurality of main and branch switching links that rotate to raise or lower the rail beams; main and branch rail beams coupled to the tops of these switching links to be selectively connected to the monorail; a plurality of base links that perform linear reciprocating motion to rotate the switching links; and one or more power cylinders coupled between the base frame and the base links to provide the power for the linear reciprocating motion. The base frame includes a power cylinder support that secures one end of the power cylinder, and switching link pivot connections positioned to align with the rail beams. The main and branch switching links are paired and symmetrical, each featuring a rail coupling at the top, a main rod angled relative to the extension of the rail beam when in the raised or lowered position, a pivot connection on the main rod for connection to the base frame, and a base link pivot connection at the bottom of the main rod. The base links include switching link pivot connections at both ends, with the base link connected to the power cylinder also featuring a power cylinder connection. This monorail switching device enables the operation of multiple vehicles on straight rail sections, even in mountainous areas where closed-loop installation is difficult due to slopes, trees, or rock faces.

Existing solutions in this field have faced structural and functional limitations that required improvement.

This technology can be applied to the relevant industry as a monorail switching device to enhance performance and efficiency.

Key Features:
  • A base frame fixed to the ground or a structure, equipped with switching link pivot connections.
  • Main and branch switching links that rotate to raise or lower rail beams, featuring rail couplings at the top and angled main rods.
  • Main and branch rail beams coupled to the tops of the switching links for selective connection to the monorail.
  • Base links that perform linear reciprocating motion to rotate the switching links, and power cylinders coupled to the base frame to provide power.
