This technology relates to a TV board for a digital TV that receives broadcast signals conforming to any one of the global digital broadcast standards, including NTSC, PAL, SECAM, ATSC, QAM, DVB-T, ISDB-T, and DTMB. It comprises: a tuner unit capable of receiving broadcast signals conforming to all of these global digital broadcast standards; an input unit equipped with multiple keys and a signal generator for receiving data and control commands from the existing TV board installed in the digital TV and for generating control commands corresponding to user key inputs; an output unit for transmitting the broadcast signals received by the tuner unit to the existing TV board; a power supply unit for supplying power to the digital TV; a control unit for controlling the operations of the tuner unit, input unit, output unit, power supply unit, and the storage unit described below; and a storage unit for storing data and instructions required for the operation of these units. By being configured as a daughterboard that attaches to an existing TV board, it enables support for all global digital TV broadcast standards not supported by the original board.
Previously, there were structural and functional limitations in this field that required improvement.
This technology is a multi-TV board that supports global digital broadcast standards and can be applied to relevant industries to enhance performance and efficiency.
