This technology relates to a method and apparatus for providing website design and content. A client transmits a first profile, in which website design and content are mapped and configured, to a web server. The web server derives a second profile, configured for website design, and a third profile, configured for website content, from the first profile. The web server then transmits the second profile to a design server and the third profile to a content server. The design server sends the requested website design to the web server based on the second profile, and the content server sends the requested website content to the web server based on the third profile. Finally, the web server maps the received design and content based on the first profile to provide the integrated result to the client.
