Anti-inflammatory peptide conjugate combining skin-permeable peptides with rPTP and cosmetic compositions thereof

This technology features a conjugate combining a skin-permeable peptide selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 12 with the rPTP peptide of SEQ ID NO: 20, as well as cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment and prevention of inflammatory skin diseases containing this conjugate as an active ingredient.

Existing ingredients for treating inflammatory skin diseases often have limited efficacy due to difficulty penetrating the stratum corneum, and there have been challenges in stably combining and utilizing permeable peptides with active peptides.

By combining rPTP peptides with skin-permeable peptides, this technology achieves both effective stratum corneum penetration and anti-inflammatory effects, making it applicable to cosmetics and topical pharmaceutical compositions for the prevention and improvement of inflammatory skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

Key Features:
  • A conjugate combining a skin-permeable peptide selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 12 with the rPTP peptide of SEQ ID NO: 20
  • A conjugate where the skin-permeable peptide and rPTP peptide are linked via peptide bonds or chemical bonds such as disulfide or ester linkages
  • A cosmetic composition containing the peptide conjugate as an active ingredient, formulated as an emulsion, cream, essence, liposome, or similar product
  • A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prevention of inflammatory skin diseases containing a stratum corneum-penetrating conjugate as an active ingredient
