Dual-Phone Case

A phone case that uses a central case as a hinge to allow two phones to be used side-by-side or back-to-back.

This technology is a dual-phone case featuring a third case positioned between a first case for the first phone and a second case for the second phone, with all three connected by two hinges that allow for folding and unfolding. Depending on the folding direction, both phones can be concealed, laid out side-by-side, or positioned to face opposite directions.

While more people are using two phones—such as for work and personal use—existing cases are designed for only one, forcing users to carry them separately and switch between them. There has been no case available that protects both devices while allowing them to be used simultaneously.

In this design, when the first and second support units are folded against the sides of the third case, both phones are concealed. When unfolded side-by-side, both screens face the same direction, and when folded in a stack, the screens face opposite directions. Adhesive elements on the front and back secure the folded state, and the hinges can be made of elastic material with a width equal to or greater than the phone's height. This is ideal for professionals using work and personal phones, travelers with roaming devices, or retail stores demonstrating products on two devices. It allows users to carry two phones like a single wallet and simply adjust the folding method to switch between simultaneous use, storage, or back-to-back display.
