This technology involves preparing silane, ethanol, acetic acid, and water in specific weight ratios, dividing them into Solution A and Solution B, and then heating and stirring Solution B while adding Solution A to produce a silane fixing agent for titanium dioxide nanofibers.

Applying and fixing titanium dioxide nanofibers to a substrate requires a silane fixing agent, but achieving both long-term stability and excellent adhesion has historically been a challenge.

By separating the silane and water solutions and utilizing a controlled process of heating, stirring, addition, and cooling, this technology produces a stable silane fixing agent that allows for the reliable dispersion and fixation of nanofibers onto substrates when applied as a photocatalytic coating.

Key Features:
  • Material preparation step: Preparing silane, ethanol, acetic acid, and water in specified weight ratios based on 1,000 parts by weight of the final silane fixing agent.
  • Material separation step: Dividing the prepared materials into Solution A (containing silane) and Solution B (containing water and acetic acid).
  • Heating, stirring, and addition step: Maintaining Solution B at 50–60°C while stirring, then adding Solution A to the heated Solution B and continuing to stir.
  • Cooling step: Maintaining the mixture for 24 hours and then gradually cooling it to room temperature to complete the silane fixing agent.
