This technology involves extracting, refining, and preparing Bokbunja seed oil, which is then filled into gelatin-based capsule shells, dried, and sorted to produce soft capsules containing Bokbunja seed oil.

Bokbunja seed oil is highly susceptible to oxidation and difficult to handle, making it challenging to stabilize its active ingredients in a convenient dosage form.

By formulating refined Bokbunja seed oil into soft capsules using gelatin shells, this technology allows for easy consumption and application in health functional foods.

Key Features:

• Extraction and refining of Bokbunja seed oil, followed by preparation through stirring, degassing, and cooling processes
• Separate preparation of gelatin-based capsule shells to contain the prepared Bokbunja seed oil
• Preparation of the capsule shell by mixing and dissolving 62–66 wt% gelatin, 28–30 wt% glycerin oil, 3–4 wt% sorbitol oil, and purified water
• Filling the prepared shells with Bokbunja seed oil, followed by drying and sorting to produce the final soft capsules
