Parking Lock Device with Protective Structure for Automatic License Plate Recognition Parking Bollards
This technology features a base unit equipped with two side-folding parking bollards and U-shaped guards to protect them. It includes bearings and connecting rods for vertical adjustment, along with an electronic unit featuring an eSIM communication module that controls parking by reading vehicle license plates.
Existing bollard-style locks are prone to damage when vehicles drive over them while they are in the lowered position, and they struggle to independently monitor and control vehicles entering from either side.
By incorporating bollard guards at both ends of the base and using ultrasonic distance sensors and cameras to monitor entries from both sides independently, this technology reduces device damage and enables automated payment processing for open shared parking services.
Key Features:
- U-shaped bollard guards located at both ends of the base unit to prevent damage from vehicles driving over the bollards when they are in the lowered position.
- An electronic unit that controls a communication module linked to mobile networks, ultrasonic distance sensors for monitoring incoming vehicles, digital cameras, and a bidirectional cylinder to raise and lower the bollards.
- A configuration that monitors vehicles from both directions using digital cameras and ultrasonic distance sensors secured with tightening nuts to the top and bottom of the bollards.
- A design featuring polyurethane bollards that prevent scratches upon vehicle impact, inserted into connection terminals to convert the linear motion of the cylinder into rotational motion for vertical movement.
