Method for manufacturing membrane sheets using film lamination and heating/cooling separation

This technology manufactures membrane sheets by heating and transporting a PU film with an attached PET film, laminating it with a hot-melt coated PVC film, and then cooling it to separate the PET film.

Multi-layered membrane sheets have historically been difficult to produce with uniform thickness and quality due to the challenges of precisely controlling the film adhesion and separation processes.

This technology enables the production of uniform multi-layered sheets for membrane products by heat-laminating PU and PVC films and subsequently cooling them to separate the PET film.

Key Features:
  • Step 1: Continuously supplying a PU film with a PET film attached to its surface.
  • Step 2: Heating the PU film with the attached PET film by transporting it through a heater set to 180–230°C.
  • Step 3: Supplying a hot-melt coated PVC film and heat-bonding it to the back of the PU film.
  • Step 4: Cooling the resulting PU-PVC composite to 4–6°C to facilitate the separation of the PET film from the surface.
