Resin-based sheet coating method combining scratch molding and UV coating

This technology is a resin-based sheet coating method that involves molding scratches onto a resin substrate, applying a UV coating layer, and then performing curing, heating, pressing, and cooling processes.

Previously, there were issues with poor adhesion when forming coating layers on resin sheets, which made the coating prone to peeling and made it difficult to maintain consistent surface quality.

By forming a UV coating layer over the scratched surface and using heat and pressure to ensure strong adhesion, this technology improves both the durability and surface quality of resin sheet products.

Key Features:
  • Scratch molding step: Continuously moving the resin substrate unwound from a roll while molding scratches onto its surface.
  • Coating and curing steps: Applying a UV coating onto the molded scratch surface and curing the formed UV coating layer.
  • Heating and pressing steps: After the curing step, heating the UV coating layer to 100–150°C and applying pressure.
  • Cooling step: Cooling the UV coating layer after the pressing step to achieve a coating thickness of 10–20㎛.
