Composition for preventing and treating vaginitis containing glucomannan and various extracts

This technology is a composition for preventing and treating vaginitis, formulated with specific weight percentages of glucomannan, various vitamins, guarana extract powder, sodium bicarbonate, plant extracts such as licorice and chain fern, and other extracts including thistle and oregano.

Preventing and managing vaginitis requires antibacterial and buffering functions, yet there has been a lack of compositions that safely combine various active ingredients in a balanced manner.

By combining glucomannan, plant extracts, and buffering agents to regulate the vaginal environment, this technology can be applied to products for the prevention and treatment of vaginitis to help prevent and improve the condition.

Key Features:
  • Active ingredients formulated with 0.5–2 wt% glucomannan, B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, and nicotinamide
  • Buffering components containing 20–30 wt% sodium bicarbonate and 20–50 wt% sodium chloride
  • Plant extracts containing 1–10 wt% of one or more extracts from licorice, chain fern, duckweed, zedoary, and actinidia
  • Extracts containing 0.1–5 wt% of one or more extracts from thistle, oregano, and acai berry
