This technology is a fluorine-based water-repellent surface treatment composition that combines a water-repellent component, including perfluoroalkyl group-containing organopolysilane and a silicone cross-linking agent, with a fatty acid amide-based beading agent, an acid catalyst, and an aqueous solvent.

Existing fluorine-based water repellents offer excellent water repellency, but they often struggle to make water droplets bead and roll off the surface effectively, making it difficult to achieve both water repellency and beading performance simultaneously.

By incorporating a beading agent into the fluorine-based water-repellent component, this technology enhances both water repellency and beading performance, making it ideal for use in textile and surface treatment agents to provide superior water and stain resistance.
