EV Charging Station Parking Control System with Dual-Side Barrier Interlocking to Prevent Unauthorized Access

This technology features left and right barriers that monitor entry from both directions, each equipped with cameras, ultrasonic distance sensors, and lighting. It integrates with wired and wireless EV chargers to control parking within charging zones.

Existing EV charging stations often face issues where non-electric vehicles occupy spaces unnecessarily, preventing EVs that actually need to charge from accessing the facilities.

By using left and right barriers to independently monitor and control vehicles entering from either direction and utilizing variable locking heights, this technology can be applied to EV charging infrastructure to prevent unauthorized parking by non-electric vehicles and improve charging efficiency.

Key Features:
  • Left barrier consisting of locking devices 1, 3, and 5, equipped with cameras, ultrasonic distance sensors, and lighting to monitor and control vehicles entering from the left, preventing them from parking in the spaces between the locking devices.
  • Right barrier consisting of locking devices 2, 4, and 6, equipped with cameras, ultrasonic distance sensors, and lighting to monitor and control vehicles entering from the right, preventing them from parking in the spaces between the locking devices.
  • A structure designed for installation in underground or surface parking lots without the need for excavation or burial, where locking device 1 of the left barrier folds or stands to the left, and locking device 2 of the right barrier folds or stands to the right.
  • A structure where locking devices 3 and 4 extend higher than locking devices 1 and 2, preventing vehicles with high ground clearance from parking while locked and ensuring the locked status is easily visible from a distance.
