Artificial Tissue and Organ Analogs Fabricated by 3D Cell Printing

This technology relates to artificial tissue or organ analogs with significantly reduced cell necrosis rates, manufactured using 3D cell printing, and their manufacturing method.

Existing organ printing faced challenges due to diffusion limitations, leading to insufficient oxygen and nutrient supply to cells, resulting in hypoxia and necrosis.

This technology improves oxygen and nutrient supply, reduces the risk of cell necrosis, and enhances mechanical strength by combining and stacking an artificial matrix patch with a support structure to form a gap structure.

Key Features:
  • Artificial matrix patch manufactured by 3D cell printing
  • Combined and stacked structure of the patch and support
  • Gap structure formed by stacking
  • Reduced cell necrosis and enhanced mechanical strength
