This technology relates to a flexible electrode, a biofuel cell utilizing the same, and its manufacturing method.

Flexible yet high-performance electrode structures were required for wearable and bio-implantable energy devices.

The electrode of this technology is composed of a multi-layered structure sequentially arranged on a non-conductive substrate, including a base layer, a nanoparticle layer containing metal nanoparticles, and a monolayer having an amine group, thereby realizing a biofuel cell with flexibility and functionality.
