This technology provides a composition and method for regulating ferroptosis, comprising a MARH6 (MARCHF6) modulator, and a related substance screening method.

To regulate various diseases involving ferroptosis, a target capable of precisely inducing or inhibiting it was needed.

This technology is the first to identify MARCHF6's involvement in ferroptosis. By modulating its activity and expression, it can induce or inhibit ferroptosis, thus being utilized in the development of therapeutics for related diseases.
