Smart Diaper and Detection Device for Detecting Bodily Waste Using Conductive Sensing Lines

This technology relates to a diaper equipped with a bodily waste detection function, comprising a waterproof cover, an absorbent layer, and an inner lining layer, as well as a bodily waste detection sheet and device.

It was difficult to immediately ascertain when infants, toddlers, or patients with limited mobility had passed bodily waste, leading to inconveniences in hygiene management and care.

This technology incorporates multiple conductive sensing lines, arranged separately within the inner lining layer, which can accurately detect bodily waste through changes in electrical resistance, capacitance, and inductance between the sensing lines upon contact with waste.

Key Features:
  • Diaper structure for bodily waste detection, including a waterproof cover, an absorbent layer, and an inner lining layer
  • Multiple conductive sensing lines separately arranged on the body contact surface
  • Detection of changes in electrical resistance, capacitance, and inductance upon contact with bodily waste
  • Expandable to a sensing sheet and sensing device for diapers
