Anti-cancer theranostic agent activated in a hypoxic environment and inhibiting angiogenesis

This technology concerns an anti-cancer theranostic agent that is activated in the tumor's hypoxic environment and inhibits angiogenesis.

Tumor hypoxia has been a challenge, as it promotes cancer cell invasion and metastasis and increases the expression of drug resistance genes, thereby complicating treatment.

This technology combines a tumor-targeting group, a hypoxia-responsive linker, and a prodrug to selectively activate the drug in tumor tissue and deliver angiogenesis-inhibiting effects, thereby enabling highly targeted anti-cancer treatment and diagnosis.

Key Features:
  • Tumor-targeting group specifically targeting tumor tissue
  • Linker that activates the prodrug in response to hypoxia
  • Angiogenesis-inhibiting effect based on cyclooxygenase inhibition
  • Integrated treatment and diagnosis via tumor-selective drug activation
