Fibrosis causes organ damage and fatal diseases due to the excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix, but there have been insufficient therapeutic targets that can effectively inhibit fibrosis in various organs.

This technology confirms that CDK17 inhibition significantly reduces collagen production and cell activity in liver, kidney, and lung fibrosis cell models, thereby offering excellent therapeutic effects broadly applicable to fibrosis in various organs.
