This technology relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of onychomycosis and tinea.
Existing antifungal agents have encountered a technical limitation where their high affinity for keratin in the skin and nails significantly reduces drug penetration, thereby diminishing their preventive and therapeutic effects against tinea. Accordingly, the present invention proposes an antifungal method comprising at least one selected from luliconazole and luliconazole salts.
The pharmaceutical composition according to this technology does not exhibit crystal precipitation even with temperature changes during long-term storage. When applied to the affected area of the skin and nails, it prevents the formation of fine precipitates after the volatile solvent evaporates, thereby significantly improving drug penetration. Furthermore, by inhibiting the keratin affinity of the active ingredient, the antifungal agent, when applied to the affected area, it further enhances drug penetration, demonstrating excellent preventive and therapeutic effects against tinea pedis and onychomycosis.
