The present invention relates to a vise jig, and more specifically, to a vise jig that can be detachably installed on the fixed and movable jaws of a vise, allowing for quick and easy securing of workpieces with various curved shapes.
While existing power vises offer many advantages, such as reduced processing time by allowing simultaneous clamping and machining of same-sized products in parallel, their fixed and movable jaws have flat clamping surfaces. This makes it difficult to stably and securely clamp workpieces with curved shapes. Furthermore, the need to custom-manufacture separate jigs for each workpiece shape incurs significant production costs, and the repeated installation and removal of jigs leads to decreased work efficiency. To address these issues, we propose a clamping unit equipped with multiple flexible clamping pins that protrude elastically according to the workpiece's shape, thereby pressing and securing the workpiece.
This innovative vise jig is detachably installed on the fixed and movable jaws of a vise. It features multiple elastic flexible clamping pins that protrude to conform to the shape of workpieces with various curved forms, allowing for quick and easy clamping of such workpieces.
