Specifically, it is a congestion control technology that manages message flooding in information-centric, delay-tolerant networks.

Previous technologies faced the challenge of resolving network-wide congestion caused by limited network resources and redundant data generation in information-centric network environments where delay-tolerant network technology (delay tolerant network description) is applied. To address this, the present technology proposes a configuration that involves recording immunity information for overlapping messages in a network environment combining an information core network and a delay-tolerant network, and using this information to control message flooding.

Accordingly, this technology can improve message delivery performance by controlling overall network overhead and efficiently delivering messages in a delay-tolerant network environment. It has practical value in the fields of broadcasting, telecommunications, IT, internet, and software.
