This technology relates to a composition for a polylactic acid toughening agent, a toughened polylactic acid copolymer manufactured using this composition, and its manufacturing method. Specifically, it is a technology for a polylactic acid toughening agent composition with enhanced miscibility and toughness.

Existing technologies provided compositions for polylactic acid toughening agents and toughened polylactic acid copolymers with improved tensile strength, elongation at break, and toughness. However, there was a need to overcome the limitations of conventional polylactic acid toughening methods, such as low elongation and toughness, and poor miscibility with polylactic acid. Accordingly, this technology proposes a configuration that includes a composition for a polylactic acid toughening agent comprising a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1, and a method for manufacturing a polylactic acid copolymer using this composition.

Accordingly, this technology can enhance miscibility with polylactic acid by improving the tensile strength, elongation at break, and toughness of reinforced polylactic acid copolymers. It has value for utilization in the fields of chemistry and advanced materials.
