Existing technologies faced challenges when vehicles collided inside tunnels due to operator negligence, leading to accidents. When an accident-involved vehicle was towed by a sideway or recovery vehicle, entry for recovery vehicles was difficult and time-consuming. To address this, the present technology proposes a system that includes a device for implementing a tunnel accident-risk vehicle recognition method. This system uses recording media and continuous imagery of the tunnel interior to detect vehicles violating tunnel safety driving rules.

Accordingly, by utilizing continuous imagery of the tunnel interior, this technology can improve the detection of vehicles violating safe driving rules within tunnel accident-risk vehicle detection systems. It offers valuable applications in the automotive, mobility, construction, civil engineering, and software sectors.
