This technology relates to a method and apparatus for inter-vehicle LED boundary detection based on adaptive thresholding. Specifically, it is a technology for detecting inter-vehicle visible light communication LED boundaries using adaptive thresholding.
In existing technologies, there was a need to resolve common signal interference in high-density traffic and provide a reliable and accurate method for LED boundary extraction in vehicle visible light communication systems. Therefore, this technology proposes a configuration that includes a method for LED edge extraction, comprising classifying image points into boundary points, non-alarm points, and non-positive boundary points based on gradient values.
Accordingly, this technology can improve the accuracy and reliability of LED boundary extraction in vehicle visible light communication systems. It has value for application in the fields of automotive, mobility, broadcasting, telecommunications, and electronic devices.
