TCP Session Establishment Technology for Mitigating SYN Flooding in an SDN Environment

This technology relates to a method for TCP session establishment in an SDN network and an SDN network to which the method is applied. Specifically, it is a TCP session establishment technology that mitigates SYN flooding in an SDN environment.

Existing technologies needed to address SYN flooding attacks in SDN network environments by efficiently defending against them. To this end, this technology proposes a configuration that includes a method for TCP session configuration in an SDN network, based on the widely used 3-way handshake mode.

Accordingly, this technology can improve the protection of server resources and prevent channel congestion in SDN networks. It has application value in the broadcasting, telecommunications, IT, internet, and software sectors.
