This technology relates to a stacked structure power amplifier using parallel varactors. Specifically, it is a stacked structure RF power amplifier technology that enhances stability with parallel varactors.
Existing technologies needed to solve oscillation and mismatch problems caused by parasitic capacitance components in conventional stacked architecture power amplifiers. To address this, the present technology proposes a configuration including a controller that determines the magnitude of the control voltage for the varactor, a voltage impressing part for applying the control voltage, and a varactor for capacitance control.
Accordingly, this technology can improve circuit stability by controlling capacitance using a varactor in a stacked architecture power amplifier. It has value for utilization in semiconductor, equipment, electronic components, broadcasting, and telecommunications fields.
