Solar-powered LED pedestrian auxiliary traffic light that detects signal patterns for illumination
This technology relates to an LED pedestrian auxiliary traffic light that is embedded in the road, powered by solar energy, and wirelessly controlled by detecting the signal patterns of pedestrian traffic lights.
Existing ground-level traffic lights require separate power sources and signal integration, making installation and maintenance cumbersome.
To address this, our technology uses solar power and wireless integration to illuminate auxiliary signals in sync with the green light, enhancing pedestrian safety.
Key Features:
- Auxiliary signal unit designed for road embedding, featuring a reinforced transparent top cover that directs internal LED light upward.
- Auxiliary signal unit powered by a 3V output generated from solar energy, controlling the flashing of the LEDs.
- Control unit installed in the pedestrian traffic light's signal controller to detect signal patterns and establish a wireless connection with the auxiliary signal unit.
- Counts time from the start of the green light and controls the auxiliary signal unit based on a preset illumination delay.
